CLINICAL PILATES

Developed by Exercise Physiologists

Our small-group Clinical Pilates are developed and overseen by our experienced Exercise Physiologists and incorporate a mixture of mat and reformer pilates.

Classes are capped to small-scale groups for an inviting, high-quality experience. Intimate class sizes allow us to provide greater 1:1 support by adapting, modifying, and tailoring a safe class to suit your individual needs and goals for all ages and levels.

    Clinical Pilates are suitable for all ages including 50 years and older.

    Safe movement for postpartum mothers and effective for healing diastasis recti

    Our classes offer a variety of progressions and regression options so our program is suitable for all.

The Benefits of Pilates

  • Unlike many forms of exercise, mat and reformer pilates are low-impact modes of movement making it gentle on joints.

  • Improves balance and coordination which reduces injury risk by strengthening your stabiliser muscles especially of the abdominals.

  • Promotes spine mobility & posture alignment for prevention/management of chronic musculoskeletal pain (lower back pain, shoulder bursitis, knee osteoarthritis etc.)

  • Our Clinical Pilates are slower paced and gentle than most other classes which promotes relaxation and mental wellbeing.
